Animasyros does not limit its actions and cooperation only during the Festival. For the 4th consecutive year and in collaboration with the Athens Concert Hall, the International Music Competition for animation film is being organized in the framework of the BRIDGE series of the Athens Concert Hall. Music composers from Greece and abroad are invited to “dress up” with their own original composition the short film “The Fairy Tale of Water” by animated film director and creator Nikos Radaios. The jury consists of Nik Phelps (composer), Maria Anestopoulou (director of the Animasyros International Animation Festival), Dimitris Maragopoulos (composer and head of the GEFYRES Series), Lena Platonos (composer) and Dimitri Panagiotato (director and head of the Department of Cinema New York College).

The three best compositions to be presented at a special ceremony on 20 May 2020 in the Athens Concert Hall, will receive cash prizes, and the award-winning composers will see the film showcased with their music at the Animasyros13 International Animation Film Festival.
